Dear Members,
First of all I would like to thank Nathan Sanders who recently completed 2 consecutive terms as our President and leader. Nathan embodies what and who a Leader is and guides others within the HRCA.
Additionally I want to Thank all the other board members who continually contribute to my growth especially now as the HRCA president. Currently we face unprecedented tough economic times still in this "recovery" for our many members within HRCA.
As I write this, HRCA has finished up its first big social event – HR Family Feud Game show! This event has been a HUGE Success! I want to thank all of our current members that came and also welcome the new members who joined us there! We look forward to making it an annual event that many hr professionals and leaders will attend each year!
My goals are to bring added value to your memberships thru engaging socials, events, and guest HR speakers/leaders who can present and share with you their best practices.
Lastly I'd like to introduce the current team and HRCA board/Committees Group for fiscal year 2009/2010. The board includes: Ben Wong (advisor), Jose Mendoza as Vice-President, Nathan Sanders of Bridgenex serving as Secretary. Arlene Ticoulet does a wonderful job serving as our Treasurer. Greg Pecher continues to manage the important role of job postings and Merrill Martin (advisor) contributes to our members in their careers guidance when needed.
Let's make 2009/2010 another successful year for HRCA and You!
